Countless Gmail users aren’t aware of it, but the unsend option does exist, and it’s quite simple to use!
1: On the Gmail page, click the Settings icon in the top right corner.
2: Next, select the General tab.
3: The Undo Send option will appear.
4: The time must now be set. The default time is 15 seconds, however.You will, be given the option of 5, 10, 20, or 30 seconds. As a result, you can set it to 30 seconds.
5: Save the scheduled email, and your preferences will be updated.
6: Now, anytime you send an email, you’ll see a box on the left side of the screen where you may type the initial message you’ll send. Undo and View Message will be reported after that.
7: If you mistakenly sent the email to someone, you can now click the undo button. This will send the email back to you right away.
You’ll see an ‘undo’ link at the top of your screen for 30 seconds every time you send an email from now on. You won’t be able to recall the message once your 30 seconds are up, so make sure you get to it right away to avoid embarrassment if the receiver notices your mistake.
